Gentle, evidence-based trauma therapy for lasting change

Individual Therapy For Trauma, Stress & Emotional Overwhelm in Midland & Across Ontario

Support for Stress, Trauma, and the Patterns You’re Ready to Change

Individual therapy offers a space to understand your reactions, reconnect with yourself, and gently shift patterns that feel automatic or overwhelming.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, stress, emotional reactivity, or moments you wish you’d handled differently, we explore how these experiences show up in your day-to-day life and relationships. For many clients, this includes the impact of early relational trauma, the exhaustion of postpartum transition, or the pressure and guilt that can surface in parenting.

Together, we make sense of the triggers, attachment wounds, and stored survival responses that still shape how you move through the world

you might be juggling:

  • Feeling on edge, stressed, or emotionally flooded

  • Navigating burnout, work stress, or role strain

  • Moments you regret and wish you could “take back”

  • Shutting down, dissociating, or feeling disconnected

  • Anxiety that feels bigger than the situation

  • Shame about old patterns that keep resurfacing

  • Feeling like you “should be able to handle it”

  • Grief, loss, or unresolved trauma

  • A sense that you’ve done the work cognitively, but your body still reacts

  • Feeling overwhelmed by the constant demands of caregiving

  • Struggling with identity shifts after becoming a parent

  • Grief around birth experiences or unmet expectations

You are doing the best you can. And things can get better.

Everything we do supports your nervous system in finding safety, stability, and connection again.

Parent Support Therapy to help You Become a More Grounded, Connected Parent

Individual therapy offers a place to understand your reactions, reconnect with yourself, and gently shift patterns that feel automatic or overwhelming.

Together, we explore the anxiety, stress, or emotional reactivity that shows up in your day-to-day life; the attachment wounds or early relational trauma that continue to shape your relationships; and the grief, birth trauma, postpartum challenges, or major transitions that still live in your nervous system.

Using Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) and other evidence-based approaches, we work directly with the parts of your brain and nervous system where stress, overwhelm, and old emotional patterns are held. This allows change to occur at the level of your physiological responses so you can experience more stability, ease, and emotional freedom in your daily life.
